Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Anti Wrinkle Injections are the most popular anti-ageing treatment used most commonly to smooth out, soften and prevent forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crows’ feet lines around the eyes. Use of these injections prevents facial lines becoming permanent with time. Small amounts of product are are injected with a very fine needle into the facial muscles which blocks the muscular contractions, in turn softening the lines in the overlying skin whilst retaining facial expression.

Treatment options
These are horizontal lines above the brow line which appear when there is loss of the supporting collagen with age. As with all facial lines their appearance can be exacerbated by UV light exposure, smoking, excessive alcohol intake.
These are the vertical lines that appear between the eyebrows and above the brows on frowning. They are amenable to anti-wrinkle injections and the effect lasts up to 3-4 months.
These are lines which fan out beside the outer corners of the eyes on smiling. They appear and become deeper with age as the natural supporting collagen in the skin is lost with age.The effects last up to 3-4 months.
This can happen during sleep and during the day with tooth clenching and excessive chewing and leads to over-development of the masseter muscle which can lead to pain in the jaw. The condition can be worsened by stress.
The eyebrows tend to droop with age which can lead to excessive skin on the upper eyelids drooping and bulging. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to perform a “chemical brow lift” to help improve the appearance of drooping brows.
